So, I need someone to do me a favor.
Anyone with a V/VT and young kids. Can you mount your car seat/base in the back and let us know how it fits. I know car are designed with these types of things in mind, but Im sure im not the only one here that would like to know for sure.. Pics of how well it fits and what model you are displaying would be nice.

There are 3 sizes I believe
-Infant
-Toddler
-Booster

I am selling my Eclipse for this reason and buying a VT.. Im short so the kids dont have a problem sitting behind me(ages 7 & 9) they sit on boosters... We can never use my car when the family goes out together because my wife is taller and when the seat is in a good position for her, there is no leg room in the back.. I also took the frs for a test drive but the rear seat room is even worse.. I had the kids with the sales guy in the passenger seat and my son had to sit indian style behind the salesman(no leg room at all)

Now, I have always been a sports car guy, so its hard for me to give up the 2 door coupe styling.. Once I saw the VT for the first time, I knew this car was for me as well as the family.. We test drove a Base veloster and let me tell you, the interior room is better than perfect!! My wife can put her seat back to a comfortable position and my boys still have room to spare, and the 3rd door makes it that much sweeter for them when I drop them off at school.. My wife is not a big fan of hot hatches but when we took this for a ride, she was sold.. Now we can take my car when we go out and save the gas we would be spending on her cuv.. If your a family man with no more than 2 kids and you still love fast, cool cars, this is the one for you... I know its the one for me!!!

So Evil, to answer your question, the kids will fit great with room to spare....Get it!

This is something I love about the Veloster. My wife and I will be having kids sometime in the next 2-3 years, so I want to get a car that can grow with us. Having seen pictures of te V with forward and rear facing car seats, I'm comfortable that it will have plenty of room.

Yeah but, show me any other car in its class or a 2 door sports car that has more than 2 seats in the back anyway.. They dont exist..
If you have more than 2 kids, youre buying a mid size car, suv, or mini van..

That is a good link. I have the same situation, and it is good to know that they have the anchors for a car seat
