If you haven't noticed yet, Rally Armor just released official Rally Armor mud flaps for the Veloster and the Veloster Turbo.

Well I have a Veloster Turbo and it's BLACK with the BLUE trim interior.

I want to get the RED mud flaps but would it look dumb because I have blue interior?

They also have BLACK mud flaps with BLUE lettering. I thought that would look perfect with my car but I think black on black would look dull and wont stand out.

If I'm spending $125 on these mud flaps, I wanna make sure I get the right color.

What would give my car more of the "Rally Look"?

Rally Armor Rally Products, Rally Mud Flaps, Skid Plates and more

*UNLESS* anyone knows if they might come out with BLUE mudflaps some time in the future.

Let me know what you guys think!

Thanks,
Zach

I have the same car as you ultra black with the blue trim and I too considered getting the black flaps with blue lettering. the only thing I could say against that would be people may not make the color connection to the blue trim unless they get a good look on the inside of the car. otherwise I think the blue looks great. I went with standard white lettering and I love it. Vehicle door Vehicle Automotive exterior Car Bumper

PS. I'm sorry the picture is uploaded sideways I'm not sure how to rotate it.

I think black w/red lettering would be best...as Dennis said, people who see the mud flaps won't know you have blue trim. But if you get red, it'll match the reflector/tail light

If you would like to come find me in Delaware OH, Ill take your blue Interior to match my blue VT and you can have my grey.. Thus fixing 2 problems at once :)

Round trip would only cost ya a tank of gas

If you google 'rally armor red mud flaps' it actually shows quite a variety of cars with the red mud flaps. The one with the scion fr-s shows them off best in my opinion. After doing that my conclusion is if I wanted to add the element of red I'd go with black with red lettering. The red mud flaps are very bold but if thats the look you want than more power to you

I guess I will throw in my 2 cents. Having the red VT, I am ordering the black with red lettering. That is the look that I would like on the car. What look, when you picture it, looks best to you? Take DennisVT's advice and google to see how the colors look. Figure what looks best to you and order those.

I vote for subtle, black flaps and some kind of colored lettering that goes with the rest of the car's exterior
For me bright colored flaps with black lettering would be just too loud
And white lettering just seems like one more thing that is going to take a lot of time to keep clean

Why put Mud Flaps on a car like this? I don't understand the logic. This is neither a Rally car nor an Off Road machine. Mud flaps are for pick up trucks and Jeeps if you ask me, and just look plain foolish on a car like this.

if you don't like the look of mudflaps on this car than why would you comment on this topic ? He's asking for advice about which mudflaps looks best so your opinion is irrelevant and unnecessary.

Granted his is a 500hp/600 lb-ft AWD killer, but yes, Velosters can rally :)
Look around the rally world outside of your super high end WRC cars and you'll see plenty of cars on the same level as the veloster. It's perfectly rally capable witha handful of modifications.
