Looks like the Veloster Turbo might have some more competition next year. Rumors seem to be getting louder that the Dart SRT4 is coming: http://www.dodge-dart.org/forum/dod...s/12-marchionne-confirms-dodge-dart-srt4.html
The Dart has a pretty cool 8.4" touchscreen with a TON of options. Even has Wi-Fi and wireless charging. As far as interior appearance and options the Dart has the VT beat hands down, UNLESS Hyundai surprisses us (which could happen)yea but im sure it wont have any of the badass stuff the vt has as fr as the touch screen and nav blue link what not, and hatchback its a sedan and it wont have 40mpg thats what makes me love he vt soo much i wanna be able to carry stuff in my car besides groceries...
I get that...some people like hatchbacksDart is ok, but I've had 2 Dodges in a row and I don't want a sedan.![]()
I was referring to the VTHmm, Dodge hasn't really offered a hatchback in a long time.. since the Omni?
Very! Your right though, the Omni may have just been the last Dodge hatchback LOL! Thats funny. Here's something especially for youYeah, I understand, I was just off thinking of what a Dodge Dart Hatch would look like. Kind of the difference between what a Mazda 3 sedan and hatchback.. It's just strange that Dodge doesn't do hatchbacks.
true true but I was addressing your previous commentthe dart still with all the options wont have the badass mpg the vt has and the 100k warranty... plus the hatch
If the VT is like the regular Veloster the interior cannot compete with the Dodge Darts. Darts interior, in my opinion, is best in it's class. Customizable dash cluster, 8.4" UConnect screen with all the bells and whistles including Wi-Fi. First car to ever have Wireless Charging for your cellphone etc. VT wins hands down in the Warranty and Mileage department no argument there.....yea but im sure it wont have any of the badass stuff the vt has as fr as the touch screen and nav blue link what not
My brother owned a Dodge Shelby Daytona..... Remember that one? He thought he owned a Porsche or somethingI actually like the Omni.. The Shelby GLHS was pretty bad ass![]()
I love both of these cars but the deciding factors for me were interior and customizability. I'm purchasing the R/T and with over 150 Mopar parts and accessories that will be available for it, it was too hard to pass up. The Veloster was hard to walk away from and it wasn't an easy decision but the R/T offers ME so much more. This is a good topic, as I find myself perplexed as to which I would get. I plan on getting something this summer. I like both the Dart and the Veloster. Dart SRT4 will definitely cost more than the the Veloster as the regular R/T already does. However I wasn't considering it anyway as release is too far away. Dart with 1.4 turbo or Veloster with 1.6 turbo? Both have their strengths.
