Based on sound alone... that's worth a couple ponies right?

My resonator looks like this...

It goes on tomorrow, I was just curious if anyone else had an updated opinion. I took the muffler loose awhile back and laughed at how loud it was, so i figured the resonator would have to help.

Post a sound clip when you get yours done if you can. I took the muffler off a while back to see how it sounded and it is loud! And now with a catless DP, the noise and fumes are horrible to me. I am looking into a custom setup now. Curious to hear how yours sounds.

I will snag a video tomorrow or Friday when the tornadoes and rain go away.

With the radio on even mild volume, I can't hear the exhaust. Under WOT my intake screams like it's dying. Need my ORHP to show up before June .

Bumping this thread... did anyone have a new video of what the exhaust sounds like? I purchased the 2.5" Ultra Quiet series to replace the factory resonator and delete the muffler.

Just curious if anyone had any more videos of the sound vs the ever favorited muffler delete.

Just installed mine few days ago cause wife was complaining about the solo catback...Felt like the 8,000 lb gorilla in the room throughout the whole commute. That little resonator works wonders!!! Drone eliminated, the sound of the solo is there when you wot, and wife is happy. I'm also waiting for a pair of DC Sport resonated tips to replace the fake oem tips. I'll post pics when installed.

I have a takeda axle back exhaust on my 2020 r spec and the drone is absolutely too much for me. I wanna quiet it down and this seems like it could be a good option. Where exactly did you have yours welded in? I was just gonna add it to my midpipe if it will work

Get a good resonator or muffler and place it in the mid pipe.

yup, measure up the length of the straight pipe underneath and get the longest resonator that fits

Longest and largest diameter chamber straight through design will tone it down the most.
