The 12.989 pass I was -.6 psi which was an easy launch. The pass I tried to make later was on 3.5 psi and it spun. I can launch it harder if the brakes will hold it. No worries on the driveline here. If I had a manual car launching on 2 step with a sticky tire then yes I'd be concerned
Interesting, sounds like you can trim off a chunk more with a really dialed in launch on warmed up tires and a better prepped track.

Yes, the car has pulled 1.8 60' in testing and may be able to go into the 1.7's. This will cut a decent amount off the 1/4 mile ET before I add more power into the car. On that particular day I could have added enough power to cut another .2 off the ET and still been safe on the stock turbo. If the car had a better intercooler I could take off maybe another .1 from the ET.

I'm predicting that I can get it to the 12.4-12.6 area on the stock turbo before I have to upgrade anything. At that point this car will get a custom stuffed turbo I've been working on and the head will be studded. Then I'll see if I can make it go into the 11's. But to do that it really has to cut a 1.7 60' or else I'd have to throw stupid power to it to make up for it on the pass.

Oh you know, just doing VT racecar shit.....

Ordered 3 lb battery and a kirkey series 55 17" seat to cut 60 lbs from the car. Those will be in by end of the month. Hopefully I can get the carbon fiber hatch with lexan windows installed as well by then.

WR drag times for the VT here I come!

Seat and seat brackets arrived. Working on fabbing that to mount in the car where it needs to be.

Battery will be here in a few days ready to install.

Custom i take should be done end of the week.

Hopefully I can have all this done and have the hatch ready by 24th and 25th which are my next 1/4 testing days at the track.

Intake air temperatures are a little cool today on 100% methanol on a highway cruise even with the oem intercooler still on the 15 auto VT. Wonder what it'll run at the track with 100% methanol instead of 100% distilled water that ran 12.989 @ 107.85mph.....She sounds good though on the QTP mods! :)

I hope the throttle freezes open and the back of the intake valves are cleaned by ice pellets! ;-)

Will see what the iats are on meth when ambient is in the 40's this weekend! ;-)

On a side note the other day on methanol with the proper nozzle in the car the datalog was indicating the car making 280-290 whp. This would be ~40 whp higher than when the car did 12.989 @ 107.85 mph on water only on a mild tune.

10/24 and 10/25 will be 1/4 mile days! ;-) Been running mid 12's when it hooks in private testing and high 12's when it spins. 110+ mph on many passes. It's going to be interesting when I make this official on the track.....

100% not going 11's on a stock turbo. Stuffed turbo and more mods maybe.....

Wired 2 lithium batteries in parallel for the VT and have them charging on the .8 amp charger. 13 volts, 720 CCA, 32 Ah, 10 amp max charge rate, 6 lbs total. Will cut 27 lbs from current setup.

Also making custom 6 GA grounds in and around the engine bay to update some current wiring and going back and cleaning all the connections as well on the electrical.

MADE A big 3 wire kit as well for the V/VT community as well.

Will have pics of all this over next few days.

Also have a bone stock 15 manual VT a guy is dropping off for a ton of mods. Will post on that over the next few weeks with dyno results and more. ;-)

Bought some Silverstar Ultra low beam H11B bulbs because both lights burnt out within 24 hours of each other.

Had a stock 15 manual VT dropped off for maxing out the stock turbo. Guy wants car to be able to run a 12 before I return it. Took a pic of some of the mods I have in for the car right now. More pics details and dyno to come. Some custom mods made for this car will also become available for the VT community.
