Pics from dyno session yesterday on customer's 2015 Manual Veloster Turbo.

Dyno chart shows from bone stock a week ago then all pulls after bolt ons including tuned.

Screenshot of datalog also pictured at peak wtq and peak whp on the highest two dyno pulls. 243 whp 278 wtq 250 whp 258 wtq.

Can't wait to get the custom intercooler and 3" turbo back exhaust on the car and retune it.

For sale or for your personal pressure?
Stock IC pressure drop is what? 3.x psi?
Looking forward to seeing your test results.
Will be for sale after testing.
Pressure drop is dependent on flow through it and boost being run. But yes can be over 3 psi on tuned cars even on the stock turbo

Need some end plates to make it work a bit better unless that's a new design I've not heard about. 🤨🤔😉😂
Could use a nice top view to see the difference in the core too. 😉
Inquiring minds want to know. 👍
This design flows so well though..... :)
I posted a top pic to compare thickness. OEM is 3.5" thick and new core is 6" thick.

Finally got my rear torsion bar from Pierce! Gonna be installing this weekend at some point. Looks like its time for another wash down too.

Cranked the car for the first time since 10/30 when the woman was "helping me" by moving the VT in the driveway which had the hood up, no intake on the car, and paper towels in the engine bay.....

Now, let's see if I can go deeper into the 12's with this turbo since I can't have someone else ruin the turbo for me to have an excuse to upgrade.....

Just working on some cam timing tuning for 13-17 VT manual and 13-15 VT auto. Hope to see some gains in mpg and power when testing on the load dyno soon!

Changed the driver side front wheel bearing. F...k that thing man...I'm not used to do all this work for a wheel bearing. The other side was replaced back in May.
I wish I know why they failed so early, I used to change wheel bearing hub assemblies, none of this press in BS, but those cars had like 150k miles or more.
This car had them fail one at 70k the other at 89k. Also both axles and the intermediate shaft failed. The dealer diagnosed and changed the intermediate shaft.
The money I spent on this car in the past 2 years, I could have bought another one by now...

Not very usual to have to replace them. I have 115k and dozens of AX and a dozen track events and only had to replace all the brake components.

Finally got in a full interior and exterior detailing... right before the rain. Naturally :(.
New shoes coming in a few weeks! so excited :D
