So im set on the the style wheel that Im wanting to get.

Do you think I could get away with an 18x8.5 with a +35 offset. Keep in mind the car will be lowered on NGM coil overs.

I was hoping I could get a nice slightly stretched look.... Tire suggestions?

i would go with a 225/40 18x8 +40 or maybe +45 just to be safe with the lowering... there's nothing grosser than a modded car rubbing, my buddies 335i rubs and i cringe every time. tirerack.com is my suggestion

225s on an 8 inch rim will not be a stretch. The evo x comes with 245s on a 8.5 rim and nowhere near stretching. I put my stock 245s on a 9.5 rim and it was a slight strech. You can put the factory tires on those wheels with no problem and have a slight strech.

If you want that much stretch you will need wider than 8.5 rims or narrower tires than factory.
