Whiteline Rear Sway Bar

I just ordered my Whiteline rear sway bar and from IAG Performance in Westminster, Md. Only $137 plus tax.
If anybody has installed this on their VT I would like to know what your thoughts are. I upgraded the rear sway bar on my Subaru Impreza when I owned it and it was the best bang for the buck suspension upgrade. The tech from Whiteline said it made a huge difference in the handling of the VT, but he gets paid to say that.

i wanna see where it bolts on to ><

it is full bolt on right?
It would be awesome if you could take a snapshot of the sway bar when you get it installed on your car.
It should be here in 7-10 days, as soon as it is mounted I will post pics. The tech at Whiteline said it mounts to the axel (torsion beam) via existing holes. Longer bolts are provided.
IAG just called and the bar should be here by Friday, hopefully it arrives early and I can get itstalled before the weekend. Has anybody else purchased or installed this swaybar?
I just picked up my rear Whiteline sway bars from Rhys Millen. I didn't have time to install it yet because installing them is a bigger PITA than I had bargained for.

I'm sure most of you know this, but the VT doesn't have an actual rear sway bar. So there is no need to remove the OEM stock bar. Instead these mount to the lower shock mount. You need to remove the lowering springs to gain better access to the holes.. For somebody who doesn't have jack stands or a floor jack handy, I need go out and purchase some or have someone install them for me. The cheapest I've found to have someone install them for me is currently $90. If anyone in SoCal knows someone who can install these for cheap, I'd appreciate it :) In the mean time I'll look for the required materials to install these myself.

Wish I still lived in SoCal brother I'd tell you to come on over and we would knock it out.

That would be nice, I'd treat you out after!
Does this connect to the same points as the shark racing rear torsion bar?

No definitely not
Ok from the explination of where it goes it sounded like maybe it did. I def want pics so I can see. I'm trying to stay away from PITA mods lol.

No they don't connect from the same point. I checked on their website just now and saw that that the torsion bar is installed a bit in front of the sway bar. My only concern would be if the sway bar itself might get in the way of the torsion bar but I doubt this is the case.
I dont know if you could run both i would have to see a pic of the sway bar installed to tell you.
I'm just wondering if the sway bar would have any effect at all if you already have the torsion. I noticed a huge difference when I installed it. It would probably not be worth it to get the sway bar as well.
Its a toss up. They are both similar but different i imagine if you can get both on It would probably work great but not sure you would notice a huge difference without extremely hard driving.

So I got around to installing the Whitelines. I had an auto shop do it for me for $40, in under an hour... The technician really wanted to take the easy route and didn't remove the springs for installation. Instead he had another mechanic help him maneuver the bottom rubber piece to the side to better gain access to the hole.

Here are some pictures:

I posted this up for you people who have been curious about where they mount to exactly. I hope this provides some insight.

I didn't get to fully test them out yet, but I'm not entirely sure if I feel much 'difference' having them on my car.. Hopefully time will tell.

looks really nice and simple install..

Am I the only one getting the impression of how small and 'weak' it looks though? I'm sure it works good but it just looks so tiny, like a small straw.. HAHA.

LOL I said the same thing! 18mm...

I trust Whiteline so...

Oh btw, I placed my Whiteline sticker on upside down. DERP
Eibach only uses a 24 for the set on my shelby so 18 is more than enough. Im like 99% sure this would work with the torsion bar.
I see the issue with it not working with coilovers though. I wonder if it could be flipped around though. Then it wouldn't be an issue.
