Will Hyundai provide Performance Parts directly from the Factory like Japan brands?
Nismo - Mugen - Denso - Mazdaspeed
... you know what i mean
does Hyundai have something like that too?
Hi Everybody,
nice to meet you... i am Owner at the moment of a Honda Fit Sport (i need a car with good gas mileage) and i am starting to think about changing Car and going to the Veloster Turbo since it seems to have a good Gas mileage and Sporty Performances.
I am used to Japanese brands and their own Performance Parts Designed specifically for their cars...
I had a Mazda RX-8 and i immediately started upgrading it by using "MazdaSpeed" parts so within the first year got the MazdaSpeed Exhaust, MazdaSpeed Intake and MazdaSpeed FlyWheel... not the cheapest parts in the market, but they didn't void the Warranty so i was happily tuning up my RX-8 with all the MazdaSpeed parts provided directly by Mazda itself.
Then i changed job nad started to drive a lot and i had to change Car and get something that did 30+mpg, so i got the Honda Fit Sport and i bought the Mugen Sport Exhaust by Honda for it that i got installed when i did the first service.
By buying the parts like this, i always maintained the Warranty valid on my Cars... so here i am asking:
What is the name of the Hyundai Sport Division?
Like i said before: Honda has Mugen, Toyota has Denso, Nissan has Nismo, Mazda has MazdaSpeed... but i can't find anything for Hyundai.
This is a key thing for me, because when and IF i will buy the Veloster Turbo, the first thing i will do by the time of the first Service is just changing the Exhaust (a Catback is fine), but more than likely i would soon install also a "Cold Air Intake" and i don't want to see the famous 10 years Warranty Voided for these 2 basic mods.
So here it comes the reason of the 'IF':
if Hyundai doesn't have it's own Performance Parts division, will they allow me to buy an Exhaust and Intake from someone else without voiding the Warranty?
(eventually, if they allow me i will do even something more ;-)
If not... i will not purchase the Veloster and stick to the Fit waiting for something else.
Thank's for the info
