Most of us know.... but you should know that the dealer having to prove it thing only applies to if you take it to court and since most people forget to opt out of binding arbitration they generally screw themselves.

Yes, using equivalent parts do not void the warranty and manufacturers publish equivalency standards.

But if you modify the turbo on the VT and your motor chunks at 60,000 miles this law is not going to help you.
