Most of us know.... but you should know that the dealer having to prove it thing only applies to if you take it to court and since most people forget to opt out of binding arbitration they generally screw themselves.
Aftermaret parts will not void your warranty unless problem is directly related to part and the dealer can prove it.

Lets go with most of us already know. I see the question asked very often around here, I am just trying to provide a refrence for those who do not know or want more information.

Yes, using equivalent parts do not void the warranty and manufacturers publish equivalency standards.

But if you modify the turbo on the VT and your motor chunks at 60,000 miles this law is not going to help you.
