OK so i have a Veloster Turbo a duhhh.. and recently i noticed small scratches on my tint on inside window and gashes out of it.. not happy at all .. but i think its the door scratching it not the tint itself so.. i was just wondering if anyone else was having a problem about the windows rubbing in the inside corners near side mirror area.?! and i havent pulled door apart yet cause here in GA its hot as hell haha and that requires dedication.

No issues with the tint being scratched or otherwise damaged from the windows being rolled up/down. I open the windows on an almost daily basis.

OH man I doubt it is the door doing it. My wifes sonata had that when we test drove it. We didn't say anything though. But you probably didn't notice it until now.

The inside edge of the rubber portion of the window sash could have grains of dirt. This can cause the tint to scratch. Roll the window down all the way and wipe a rag in the channel, if you haven't already tried this that is.

I really don't think the original tint is that great. My rear window tint has spots in the top left corner and its bugging me. Next service it will be getting mentioned and fixed.

i had my Windsheild replace one week after i bought the car. The lamination they used between both layers of glass had a basketball sized ripple in it. Not sure if this is what your seeing or if the side windows are even laminated.
