Anyone out there without the matte gray contemplating this or a similar product?
I watched the demo video and it seems pretty damn cool, albeit probably expensive. Having the added bonus of it being a protective film and not just a matte paint finish seems like a win.

No offense but I think this is a terrible idea. No car I've owned has survived it's entire life without getting a scratch or a ding on it from a shopping card, kids, or what have you. Imagine what this would look like after a ding in the car door. You'd have a bubble in the door and it'd look tacky. No thnx for me!

I'm considering it for the 1st half of my hood, bumper and side mirrors for my matte VT. I'm concerned about the liquid and glue of the film harming the finish though.

I'm strongly considering going with marathon blue and am curious how it would look with a matte finish. Realistically it'd prob be stupidly expensive though.
