decided I'll do a build thread since I'm off work on vacay and have the time.. I decided to buy the VT after sharing my wife's Mazda 3 for a couple of years then work moved to a new location and could no longer take the GO train to work. before the VT the last vehicle I owned was a 08' Outlander.. and a 01' Mazda Protégé before that.
I picked up "Marty" brand new from the dealer in November 2013. I went to several dealers to get Marty.. my first choice was an Century White but they could find any brand new that late in Ontario and I didn't want to wait for the 2014's. so l ended up getting the last Brand new Matte Grey avail in Ontario.
when I saw the matte finish in person I knew I made the right decision..

I negotiated to get a engine block heater, Remote Starter and tint(5% all around) included from the dealer.
The next week I mud guard and floor liners from the dealer (wish I had thought to include these in the deal)
I then ordered some GarageLine spacers 20/25mm, TurboSocks rigid Collars and TWM Shifter bushings
next mod was badges.. SR and Eagle (Wing) for the front and rear plus center caps.

I then picked up the DD HID low beam & fogs from Turbosocks..

My next Mods came early in the new year.. Uniqu Strut Bar, TS 3" SRI/CAI and Resonator Delete, Solo 3" Exhaust & TIPS all at once
i'll upload some pics and videos for the CAI, Exhaust & TIPS later.
I just picked up the car from getting the headlights painted..looks similar to this but all matte black with the red trim..
will post some pics later also its too cold outside..currently -15 feels like -20 here in Brampton.

Future mods:
Rims, FMIC,BOV, Short shifter,Hood and Reflector Vents, Springs (maybe) etc..
Any questions or tips please share.
