Hey everyone! Welcome to my build thread. This is my first time ever modding my car, and I am super excited about it. My wallet and my wife, however, are not. :(

Here's the Witch, when I first got it:

Next, came the debadging:

I purchased some ZoneTech interior LEDs that were supposed to be blue, but when I installed them, they were white. It's grown on me, and I think in the long run white would be more tolerable. Sorry for not knowing about DD/exLED when I purchased these! I performed the upper clutch switch disconnect after installing these lights.

This past week, I got my wheels and emblems Plasti Dipped in black by LA PlastiDip (LA-Plasti-Dip - Woodland Hills - Woodland Hills, CA):

Alloy wheel Wheel Tire Rim Auto part
Vehicle Automotive exterior Car Personal luxury car Bumper
Automotive exterior Auto part Vehicle Car Rim

And just today, I added the DIY SRI and BPV > BOV mod to my list. Sounds awesome, IMO.

And that makes me current. This Tuesday, I have my window tint scheduled. Got a very sweet deal on LivingSocial, $89 for up to 5 windows. Living in CA, I'm somewhat limited on what cosmetic changes I can make without getting hassled by the law, so just the rear windows will have limo tint. This weekend, I'll be purchasing some Eibach Pro springs, exLED rear reflector LED v1, and dipping the skirts and possibly engine cover purple (if you're into doom metal, you know what this is all about). I'll be taking some full car pics after the tint is done and I get a wash. Woo woo!

I unfortunately have some damage on the underside of the front lip. Does anyone have any tips for smoothing out the rough spots? Should I sand it down a bit? I'm trying to avoid taking them off because I have a tendency to break plastic clips when disassembling...anything, really.
Just ordered a can of Blaze Purple PlastiDip for the skirts, going to be using black Plasti Dip as a base coat.

me likey. black is a great color because you can put any color accent you want.

I agree! Black and purple are my favorite colors. I'm aiming for a (legal) blackout with dark purple skirts and possible calipers.

Got my tint done today, and a quick wash later...

Here's a video of someone that dipped his rim purple with different base coats:

That black base coat is the perfect shade IMO.

I don't know why but I prefer ordering everything at once like that than piecing it together. Nice shopping spree list!

I really like the purple plastidip color! I was wondering when someone was going to bust it out! I had considered it for my own but haven't done any plastidipping just yet. I'm curious to know how much the place in woodland hills cost you for the emblems and wheels? The car is looking good btw!
Just checked out their website. Looks promising and the options endless...will have to go now!
Definitely hit him up! He works out of his house right now since the bay he was renting was bought out by a new owner. He charged me $25/wheel, emblems on the house. Tell him Will with the black VT sent you!
Purchased:

exLED Rear Reflector LED v1 w/ turn signal (no OEM housing, gonna install that shiznit myself, hopefully)
exLED License Plate 3LED, 5000k
Turbosocks Rigid Collars
Tork IC Pipe

This is gonna be good. I am stoked.

Awesome! must feel like christmas now. I have big plans for my stereo system and instead of buying stuff one by one I am saving to buy all at once because I rather have everything show up at once. That feeling you get when stuff is at your door is priceless. just like seeing a present under the christmas tree with your name on it. Actually better than that because you know it is what you wanted haha

Exactly! AND I convinced my wife to get me the new Turbosocks wheel spacers for Christmas. So I've got those on the way as well.
Purple plastidip is out for delivery! Picked up a couple cans of black plastidip from the Depot. I think this should be enough for 4 coats of black, then a couple of purple, no? I hope so!
No need for the longer wire. With the turn module, it's more than long enough to reach your tail connector.
