I am really trying to hold off on buying a cai until one is made to make use of hood scoops.
It's a generic Cone filter with a cap over it. You will still need the SRI upper piping or a pop adaptor. It's useless unless you manage to route the feed pipe into the grill or pull out the driver-side fog light.

I was thinking of routing the feed pipe into the grill, but Im afraid it will suck water into the engine when it rains.

Not to engage in attempts to deliver grievous bodily harm to expired equine quadrupeds, but unless you submerge the entire filter you extremely unlikely to ingest enough fluid to damage the motor.
Actually the velocity-stack/drier-pipe inlet is more likely to ingest fluid in hazardous volumes, than the CAI.

Consider the air path. Intake - turbo - intercooler - intake manifold. l would be concerned if l was feeding directly into the Intake manifold. Look at the current Turbosocks ram air intake or the comment from Btjetman about the unmodified cars he saw at the dealership for hydrolock.

lf you want to do it plan it right and ask questions if you have them. There are lots of smart knowledgeable people on these forums

That is why I am here

I was hoping to find something like this:

If it could be attached to one of the hood scoops, that would just be icing on the cake.

The grill or the fender well will probably be your best bet. l installed functional hood vents in the hood and the fitment of your intake would be difficult. Take a look at the pictures In the functional hood vent thread, it will show you the brackets on the underside of the hood.
