Yeah - I have been asking them for Video's for about 3 weeks, and they say it'll be next week or the next week after that, I bet you if you call today, they will say next week as well lol.
You hear a tiny bit of it in the SFR's green VT - on you tube. But it's a whole 10 seconds. It does sound ok, but you got to remember it's only 2.5" while the Solo is 3" and the Solo (you have the option of with or without the resonator). So I got sick of waiting and ordered the Solo. The Ark is $400 more, but it' won't perform/sound $400 better.

They are much like the exhausts for the regular V and are insanely overpriced considering you are mainly paying for the name. 3" exhaust tend to have a deeper pitch and sound less like a ricer than the 2.5" especially on our little 1.6L. I think anyone on here will agree the ARK exhausts are a waste of money and I don't recall anyone on this forums buying it for that reason along with them waiting months to release a sub-par exhaust. The Solo exhaust will save you hundreds of dollars and sounds worlds better. Advantages of the Ark exhaust: Paying $400+ for a sticker that says ARK.

Where's the Dislike button? lol Thats the first time i've read this on here. Hell, there were several people getting rid of their solo because they considered it a bit too loud and "ricey", which then ignited all sets of flaming and e-thuggery. The solo is louder that's for sure.

 

My Jun BL sounds as deep as it gets.

 

Ill take a dirt cheap used solo :smile:

 

The ark exhaust sounds like crap in my opinion WAYYY to much "blat" if you will.. as far as 3" sounding deeper and less ricey.. I usually find it quite the opposite.. if the car has enough flow to fill the exhaust properly that is true however when it doesn't fill it up it just sounds hollow IMO and obnoxious. The turbo kit sounded amazing on our catback, it sounded very smooth and deep and IMO the ark exhaust just made it sound like an NA honda with a crappy fart cannon (ok maybe not that bad but you get the point)

That's exactly what I was trying to say. I hate that typical fart cannon Honda sound and the NAV with ARK sound a lot like that. There is a lot of Subies in my area and and personally I think the 3" sounds much better and deeper on the WRX or even 2.5RS than a 2.5" exhaust but iv never been heard a VT exhaust in person :disappointed:

OK. Two things.
A) Those tips are still awesome.
B) How stupid is a "exhaust video" that spends a full minute of its 1:49 length not listening to the exhaust.

 

I agree with John on that one! But, the exhaust sounds good and that would probably be the one I went with given I had enough money
