I've had the clutch switch unplugged for some time now but decided to put a switch on it.

I did not cut into any of the 2 wires when attaching the switch but used .250 terminal connectors to hook directly into the connector that plugs into the upper clutch switch. This saved the wiring from being cut and can always re-install if ever needed

I removed the upper clutch switch from its bracket and did a continuity check on its 2 connectors and it's just a normally closed on/ off switch. Once I knew that my decision was easy on the switch.

Now I can turn it on and off as needed and by doing so can literally see the differences of how it responds with installed switch.
I now call my switch the 'sport mode' switch because that's what it acts like.
Rev hang goes away, deceleration gives a nice gurgle pop to the exhaust note, and for some reason idle is increased by about 50 rpm when in sport mode. ?

The only time I turn it off is in the highway to see if fuel mileage is slightly increased. So far I've not driven that much on the highway to check this.
