Took the Veloster out to my local autocross this past Sunday. Hadn't run on any track in 5 years so it was nice to shake the rust off. The car did pretty well for being on stock suspension. Didn't feel as bad as many people make the car seem to be. Yes, it's still not the best suspension out there but it can work.

Here's a video I took, if it looks slow its because it is. Stock 500 tread wear Kuhmo all-seasons and rain made for a very hard to get traction on acceleration/braking. I'll have some better summer rubber for next month and also work on getting better video.

Planning to run in GS for now so no suspension mods for now, just gonna get all the camber I can from the stock set up at the front. What brakes do you run? Was thinking either EBC Yellows or Hawk HP 5.0.

i started with stock, went to porterfield provided by pierce which worked awesome on track not so great for autocross. currently i'm running the hawk ceramics which are a small step above stock. they work really well. i'm using ate typ 200 brake fluid.

the whole last season i ran in HS/GS and did very well in my club. went to a few other non-club events and did great there too :)
