Okay so I'm not a huge stance person.... but it's growing on me. I really want to drop down to a 17. My rear fenders are going to get pulled and rolled soon as well as the front. I really want to do 17 x8.5 up front and either 9.5 or 9 in the rear. Is this possible? It will only be summer wheels. And what would a good stretched tire size if this is possible. Offset ah don't know really... plus 25??

You will not be able to fit plus 25 offset on our cars. Camber is a PITA to do on the rear wheels. A fender pull/roll will not help much. The only way a fender pull/roll would work is if you actually do custom fab work to them and add some sort of wide body kit.

You can do 17x8.5, but anything lower than a +35 offset will poke too much especially in the rears unless you do the camber kit which is very hard to do for the weak hearted. I wouldn't do it just because it is too tricky and still do not get much camber.

Someone here has 19x9.5 in the rear but the offset is +42. it is kind of stanced but isn't cambered like VIP cars are.

18x8.75et35. -2 degrees of camber up front. roughly -4 in the back

ok now do this on it :D

this nav had his fenders rolled/pulled and looks like poopoo

guarantee that is why he gave it up(pic of his nav on the lot selling it). couldn't achieve the stance he wanted. I saw another nav on the nav forum put 18x9 +some low offset and was SLAMMED. looked like he was literally driving on his fenders on his tires. sold shortly after. bet if was because he couldn't get the look he wanted because no camber in rears. You see those navs alek?

I was thinking the exact same thing. A member here made a thread requesting suck thread (stickie) to be made. I would attemp but man that is TONS of info. then people start to ask about what is offset and what tires would fit and what rubs and stock height vs springs/coils and all these other variables.

That is what it is. ALL variables. everything. 215, 40, 18, x7.5, +49, sprins, coils, camber, toe, caster, dampening, ride height, ALL factor in if it will "fit" or not.

BTW OP, as you can tell, on this forum you will more than likely get flames if you try to pull the whole stance stretch pull roll theme on everyone. Seems like on these neck of the woods only a handful of people like the vip scene. alek, TheDude, and me. and now you too OP.

haha because there is a difference from looking good and looking like the shit just don't fit so it hangs out the sides of the car by half a foot

^WOO that is a tight fit but a fit nonetheless huh!

You will need an alignment. which consist of adjustments of your camber. but it isn't a stance type wheel size. it will fit nice and flush.

A picture thread would be great! Showing everyone's stats and what it looks like.
I have seen wrx and a few other forums and there are hundreds of pages of just showing their stance with the wheel size and all. awesome. but here, the wheel seen is almost dead if it wasn't for just aftermarket rims. stance will never be a scene here.

18x9.5et45

And here's the back of the wheel. It's kinda hard to get under my car so I couldn't get a very good pic lol but the left side is the wheel obviously and the only thing close to hitting is the plastic fender liner which could easily be shaved down. There's nothing behind it that'd be a problem. 10 or 10.5 with a 45-50 offset would "fit" out back I believe with a little bit of camber and a mild stretch. Don't quote me on any of this though…

I'm just starting to dip my toes in the "stance" thing. Well, maybe after what I'm about to say you may not even call it stance. lol.

While I'm not into this:

I am into lowering cars, going wide(r) and making the cars sit well with little to no wheel gap....I have new wheels and coil overs coming...should be an adventure.

A friend of mine from the Audi scene has a beautiful 3.2 A5.

Sits awesome. Super jelly.
